Brad Ford has dealt with various materials such as races, classes, and urban spaces through large abstract paintings that build up, scrape, and tear, such as flyers and newspapers collected on the street.
His work is said to have opened a new horizon of contemporary art in his own language called "Social Abstraction."
In this exhibition, we will showcase more than 40 works including painting, video, and installation, including the new series 'Here Comes the Hurricane', which is specially produced in accordance with the AMOREPACIFIC Museum.
Representatives include the early painting film Blue (2005), Niagara (2005), which was inspired by the 1953 films of Marilyn Monroe, and 'Float' (2019), which allowed visitors to walk directly on the work.
