this is a short clip from a long conversion we had all through the almost 1hr ride. This part came up when he asked if I was dating a Chinese rn or would be willing to date a Chinese man. I then replied that I have seen so many videos of Chinese and Black couples and the comments under are wild with people bashing them and leaving very r*cist comments. He then proceeded to talk about why they behave like that. Most of the things he said, I was already aware because I use Chinese social media and I have seen sooo many crazy things. I stopped scrolling on wechat already 🚶🏻‍♀️Just felt like a lot hearing it in person 💀 This is the 3rd and probably the last part I’ll be posting from this conversation 🚶🏻‍♀️you can check the other two for more context. Generally speaking, there are soo many nice and friendly people in this country. I have encountered tons of them. It would be unfair to them to say the entire population is r*cist as that would be false information. However, it is not unlikely that you encounter people who think like this man. I’ve seen some comments and I just want to reassure you that this was not meant in anyway to discourage you from visiting China. I would be the last person to actually do that. Ngl its pretty chill out here. Also, I believe its not necessary to reply r*cism with r*cism as we end up hurting those who didn’t hurt us in the process.
