We need to help save the future of the incredible community in Pacific Palisades: Palisades Bowl and Tahitian Terrace. Over 350 mobile home park residents — some of the last truly affordable housing in the area — burned to the ground back in January.
These weren’t just houses. They were homes to over a hundred senior citizens, teachers, nurses, veterans, and young families with kids in the local schools. And now? The residents have been locked out, the park owners fenced off the land, and they haven’t even started cleanup. It’s heartbreaking — and somehow, still legal.
SB 749 is a bill that would change that. But California legislators need to hear that the public is behind these people — our neighbors — who are desperate, pleading, and just want a fair chance to rebuild their lives.
