This is a humorous and moving story about the Kim family, a Korean-Canadian immigrant family, who runs a convenience store in downtown Toronto. The story revolves around Papa Kim (who affectionately called him "Apa") and Mama Kim ("Uma"), who immigrated to Canada in the 1980s and opened a small shop near Regent Park, working hard to raise two children: Jung and Janet.Nowadays, children have entered adulthood and face the turning points and challenges of their lives. However, behind this family is a crack that has not healed. When Zheng was sixteen years old, a fierce conflict broke out with his father - a verbal dispute escalated into a physical conflict, and even involved the stolen money at home, which eventually led to Zheng running away from home in anger. From that day on, the father and son have become strangers and have not been in contact for many years. This is not only a convenience store story, but also a journey of reconciliation about family affection, misunderstandings and possible reconciliation.
