ATE ITS HART, A LARGE CENTRAL AREA BRINGS TOGETHER KITCHEN, DINING, AND LIVING SPACES INTO ONE, OPEN TO THE VIEW AND FRAMED BY THE House’s Geometry. Casa llu is architecture as a Collective Home for Living, Contelating, and Taking Refuge. ___ Casa Llu is conceived as a family lodge inspired by the rain in southern Chile and in the precarious tents of the ancient wooders, a shelter designed to host four generations and their friends. Under a large cover that protects and gathers, its spatiality adopts the concept of “ga-envo” introduced by Cazú Zegers-a fusion between the American loft and the Chilean rural shed-that gives rise to a fluid, continuous and no corridor interior. In its large central area, kitchen, dining room and being converge, forming a single space open to view and contained by the geometry of the house. Casa Llu is architecture as a collective home to live together, contemplate and take refuge.
