The way we move our bodies reflects our overall state of being. Each person has a natural movement style shaped by their life experiences. However, this doesn't mean we can't learn to move differently, which can also lead to a shift in our mindset. Exercises that promote circular movement are excellent for releasing stagnant energy, including emotions. As we've mentioned before, emotions are energy in motion. However, this movement can be hindered by external factors, such as our reluctance to experience certain feelings because they can be painful or uncomfortable. Choosing to avoid, reject, or hide from our emotions doesn't mean they aren't present. The frustrating part is that if we handle our emotions this way, they tend to linger. Only by experiencing these feelings can we create enough movement for them to pass through and transform into something new—another emotion or feeling, and sometimes even new thoughts that can inspire or motivate us. ° ° ° ° ° ° ° #amenti #amentimovemeant #movemeantmethod #movementmedicine #movementalchemist #selfawareness #emotions #expression #feeling #suppression #circulation #sensations #pain #hurt #water #transmutation #transforminganger #lisbon
